As former CEO and Chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Tom Poberezny’s experience spans the entire aviation industry…a view that few ever attain. He has a respectful understanding of aviation’s storied past, knowledge of its importance to the fiber and well-being of our nation, and confidence in its boundless future.
Throughout his aviation career he has been a man of action. He performed as an internationally renowned pilot, winning national and international aerobatic championships, while flying with the Eagles Aerobatic Team, one of aviation's premier acts.
Tom's media credentials are also extensive. He was the Executive Producer of ESPN2's Ultimate Flights, Sport Aviation for Speedvision, and From the Ground Up and Learning to Fly, which aired on Discovery Wings. He also served as publisher of all EAA Magazines for over a decade.
Jon began his film/video career as Director of Publications and Education for Ducks Unlimited, the international wildlife conservation organization.
As an independent producer, he has developed programming for channels and clients in fields ranging from outdoor recreation and consumer electronics, to aviation. Jon has credits on nearly 200 shows, many of which have featured Academy Award winning and nominated actors, international recording artists, athletes and business leaders.
Jon is formerly Vice President of Television and Corporate Sponsorship for the Experimental Aircraft Association and Chief Development Officer for the EAA Foundation. He has served as executive producer, producer or director on five cable series and numerous specials for Discovery Wings, ESPN2, ESPN, Speedvision and Outdoor Channel.
Scott is a multi-award winning director, DP, producer and senior editior whose credits include five aviation series (Ultimate Flights, ESPN2; Sport Aviation, Speedvision; From the Ground Up, Discovery Wings; Learning to Fly, Discovery Wings and Wings to Adventure, Outdoor Channel), as well as numerious specials for ESPN, Discovery Wings and others.
Scott was formerly Executive Producer of EAA TV, The Experimental Aircraft Association's in house production entity. In that capacity, he oversaw all film and TV access to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the largest aviation event in North America.
A pilot and aircraft owner, with his wife Kyle, of a 1946 Piper J-3 Cub (floats, wheels, skies), Scott is one of the premier aerial cinematographers.
Lesley Poberezny, who has earned an MBA, is an experienced Marketing professional, with an emphasis on social media, brand management, web/strategic consulting, and event planning.
She also has extensive aviation relationships and experience due to her lifelong involvement with EAA and AirVenture Oshkosh. Her passion for aviation and marketing experience has been extremely valuable in bringing the stories of hundreds of aviators and aviation icons to you.
